Would you like to lower your admission fees into the event?  Well, that is possible if you bring in a new unwrapped toy for our Toys for Tots drive and that will reduce your admission to 1/2. 
 Example: 1 Toy and 2 adults would be a $5.00 savings, making admission only $15.00 for two people and its good for both days.

What's Happening Both Days:

VENDORS AND ARTIST
There will be many vendors set-up to offer a large selection of merchandise including Silver age Comics, posters, toys, new comics, back issue comics, non sports cards, magazines, scifi themed guitars, and more, much more. Artist will be there with original works such as Zombie art and Indy Horror Films. Check out the Vendor page to see a list of those attending.

FACE PAINTING WITH LOVELY & DERBY
No kidding around,these two clowns will be available for painting faces of all ages, and you can view their work and shop ahead of time for a style just right for you by visiting their website at www.2clowns.com

MAGIC THE GATHERING TOURNAMENT  - Our apologies, the tournament has been cancelled
This tournament will be for beginners and intermediate level players. The room will be in the show area, but sectioned off for its own space. Decks will be checked before playing to ensure a level of fairness. The tournament will start at 1:00pm.
There will be a sectioned off game area available all day Saturday and on Sunday after 2:00pm, open to any persons who would like to use it.


ZOMBIE NIGHT LIVE - OPEN MIC WITH WOLFMAN MAC
  12:30 PM - 1:30 PM (ish) To celebrate Zombies and people who love them, open Mic seems like the perfect way to share in talents of the Undead. Anyone dressed as a Zombie who would like to showcase their talents on stage will be welcomed to do so. It would great to hear Zombie songs, and see Zombie dancing or hear Zombie tales, or maybe hear some Zombie comedy. The possibilities are endless. 

ZOMBIE OLYMPICS
  1:30 PM until the Zombies stop or the Zombie Beauty Pageant starts. Exclusively for those who come dressed as Zombies. There will be several games that will be fun for all Zombies who wish to participate or who accidentally join in. Non Zombies are welcome to join on the side lines to encourage the Undead and perhaps occasionally direct straying Zombies back to the game. The Zombies who collect the most Gold medals can choose a prize from the prize gallery.

ZOMBIE BEAUTY PAGEANT
  5:00 PM  Help the significant Zombie in your life to feel good about themselves and encourage them to get it together for a beauty competition. This competition will be judged on the Zombie essence of each Zombie. Glowing eyes are a plus! The winner can choose a prize from the prize gallery.


What's Happening Sunday:

SUPERHERO OPEN-MIC
  12:30 PM - 2:00 PM  Open-Mic will be hosted by Lucy Gothro and Max Green. They will start off with a few songs, and work in some comedy styling. Let's liven things up and join them in the audience or by stepping up to the mic and being super!

MAGIC WITH ERICA LOUISE LYNN
  2:00 PM  The very talented and mysterious Erica will be bringing some magic to the event. Prepare to be mystified! This is something for all ages to enjoy. 

WILLIAM MESSNER-LOEBS  ART WORKSHOP
  1:00 PM - 2:00 PM Join William in a discussion about art. William is an industry legend for comic art. This discussion will involve the use of paper and pencils and will be held in a sectioned off area. You can find out more about the workshop prior to 1:00 PM by stopping at William's booth to inquire. This workshop is most beneficial to ages 12 and older.


ARTIST SPOTLIGHT - BEYOND THE COVER
  2:30 PM  (Following Erica) This is a great opportunity to hear from our Special Guests who will publicly speak on stage about their inspirations as artist, their journey and how it has shaped their lives. They are also available for meeting and greeting and picture taking off-stage at their booths and look forward to time with their fans. Please stop by and say hello.  


SUPERHERO TRAINING CAMP 
Following the Artist Court, try some Superhero games to challenge your inner Superhero to grow. The Superhero that collects the most
gold circles for doing the best job of completing each segment of training can trade them in for a prize at the prize gallery.


COSPLAY COMPETITIONS
  5:00 PM  show off your renewed Superhero spirit with some good ole' fashioned fun Superhero play. This is a no contact event. The Superhero that wins by a show of applause gets to choose a prize from the prize gallery. 



OTHER AWESOME THINGS TO KNOW
  • Gibraltar Trade Center in Taylor will have its concession stand operating in the show area during the event to provide refreshements and food. 
  • Public restrooms for both men anpd women are in the show area.
  • A public seating area near the concessions stand will be available for resting and refreshing. 
  • Wide aisles in the show between vendor tables and booths will contribute to the ease of shopping, and for baby strollers, wheel chairs and mobility chairs to easily get through. 
  • The entire show area is on the same street level as the parking lot.

FAST FICTION WITH THE GREAT LAKES ASSOCIATION OF HORROR WRITERS
  12:00 PM Coming to the mic will be Peggy Christie, Nicole Castle-Kelly, Michael Cieslak, and David Hayes from the Great Lakes Association of Horror Writers (GLAHW). Christopher Naduea is also a member of GLAHW and will be joining them on stage. They will be offering the crowds goose bumps with each author sharing their own personally created fast fiction. Make sure to get a chair and one for a friend to hold on to while you listen. They too will be available at their tables off-stage to socialize with their fans. ​MIKE GAYLORD - COLLECTIBLES APPRAISER
Mike Gaylord, the host of the  Everything Classic antique and collectibles live radio show airs during the weekend on several radio stations including:

 •WFNT 1470 AM in Flint, Michigan
 •WHLS 1450 AM in Port Huron, Michigan
 •WHLX 1590 AM in Marine City - Mt Clemens , Michigan



Mr. Gaylord will be adding value in a unique way to this the event with weekly promotional spots on his radio stations up to the very day of the event with a live broadcast from Gibraltar Trade Center that morning of the event, between 9:00am - 10:00am. The Appraisal fair will start at 10:30am until 5:00pm, and conducted on a first come first serve basis. Mr. Gaylord has been airing his show for over 10 years, and is well know for his antique apprraisal fairs. If you have antiques or collectibles and you want to know their value feel free to bring them in and ask Mr. Gaylord and he will help you discover more about your treasure.
